PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fitting part from lifting from a substrate, even when the number of plugging and unplugging increases in a right-angle type connector fit and are connected in parallel to the substrate. SOLUTION: A housing 10 is formed with a fitting part 11 to a mating connector 5, in a front and a mounting bottom face 13 to be mounted on the substrate at the bottom. Horizontally lined contacts 31 and 32 are aligned and held in the housing 10, and the contacts are jointed by soldering to a wiring pattern on the substrate behind the fitting part 11. The housing 10 has a leg part 15c, formed so as to extend further behind a junction of the contact 31. The mounting bottom face 13 is extended to the rear end of the leg part 15c, and is formed higher than a fitting part lower end face 11a; and a step 14 abutting on an edge part E of the substrate is formed between these faces for composing this right-angle type connector 1. |
