MAGNETIC HEAD AND MAGNETIC RECORDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a head suitable for high speed magnetic recording. SOLUTION: The head is a magnetic head used for magnetic recording, wherein the reversing time of a recording magnetic field of the recording head is reduced by providing coils having inductance values different from each other on at least two different parts of a magnetic path consisting of a magnetic gap, an upper magnetic core and a lower magnetic core which are provided at a part facing a recording medium.
