PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer device constituted so as capable of surely taking out a removable recording medium when a system is stopped. SOLUTION: As to the computer device constituted so as capable of attaching/detaching the recording medium 106 by moving the recording medium 106 to the removable position from the specified working position, the device consists of a device control means 102 for controlling this computer device, a recording medium control means 105 for controlling so as to set the recording medium 106 to the specified working position or so as to move the recording medium 106 to the removable position from the working position and also detecting whether the recording medium 106 stays at the specified working position or not, and a device stop signal inputting means 101 for inputting a device stop signal 101a for stopping the operation of this device the aforementioned constitution is featured such that the staying state of the recording medium 106 at the working position is displayed by the device control means 102 when the device stop signal 101a is inputted through the device stop signal inputting means 101 and also the staying state of the recording medium 106 at the specified working position is detected by the recording medium control means 105.
