PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically report an emergency report to a care center in case of emergency, without giving any burden to a person to be cared. SOLUTION: In the emergency reporting device installed in a house and equipped with a mat switch circuit 1 integrating a switch circuit 1a to detect the action of the person to be cared, a speaker circuit 2 to output reporting sound, a microphone circuit 3 to input voice, and a telephone line 5 connected to a control circuit 6 to control the mat switch circuit 1, the speaker circuit 2, and the microphone circuit 3, the life rhythm of the person to be cared is grasped from the monitored data of the signal input of the mat switch circuit 1, music or voice is outputted for a fixed time from the speaker circuit 2, and when voice response from the person to be cared can not be detected by the microphone circuit 3, the control circuit 6 dials to a care center in order to report the abnormality.
