PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack equipped with a structure for bringing a temperature detection element for detecting the temperature of secondary batteries into contact with the secondary batteries in such a manner that a thermal coupling between them is stably maintained. SOLUTION: The secondary batteries 1 and a circuit board 2 are housed in a lower case 4, and the temperature detection element 3 led out from the circuit board 2 is disposed between an elastic piece 6 provided in the lower case 4 and the secondary batteries 1. Even if there are variations in the external shape and size of the secondary batteries 1 and of the detection element 3, the detection element 3 energized by the elastic piece 6 is brought into contact with the secondary batteries 1, thus stabilizing temperature detection.
