PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vary the arrangement of photographs with the lapse of time as a photograph layout pattern, when displaying digital photographs. SOLUTION: One of photograph layout patters 301 to 304, including the arrangement of one or more photographs, is selected as a current photograph layout pattern, and one of the photograph arrangements of the current photograph layout pattern is selected as a current photograph arrangement. Digital photographs are displayed based on the information of the digital photograph and the information of the current photograph arrangement. The current photograph arrangement is made to vary with the lapse of time in the photograph arrangement of the current photograph layout pattern.
