PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system in which the image pickup location is added, as character information, to an image obtained by electronic image pickup. SOLUTION: In a print system comprising a digital camera producing image data by electronic image pickup, and a printer, the digital camera acquires positional information using GPS at the time of image pickup and stores the positional information, personal information of a cameraman and the image data as one file in a removable memory connectable with the printer. The printer reads out the positional information and the image data from the memory, converts the positional information into character string information indicating the image pickup location, composites the converted character information at a specified position of an image represented by that image data to generate composite image data, and then prints an image using the composite image data. |
