PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which can obtain an effect that is close to a desired speed change by increasing the image reading density, a method for processing image, and a recording medium. SOLUTION: The image processor is provided with a printer 420 which prints a prescribed pattern on a recording chart, a CCD image sensor 401 which reads the printed pattern, and a CPU 409 which discriminates the coincidence between the number of picture elements of the read pattern and that of the printed pattern. Upon discriminating that both numbers of picture elements are not coincident with each other, the CPU 409 controls the image sensor 401 to again read the printed pattern by increasing the reading density in accordance with a program stored in a program ROM 407. |
