PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the amount of an element added as a sintering inhibitor in accordance with the size of a magnetic powder forming a magnetic layer. SOLUTION: A magnetic powder forming a magnetic layer 2 comprises an Fe-Co alloy, a rare earth element and at least one element selected from Al, Si and P. The rare earth element is contained by 8-16[%l (expressed in terms of atomic ratio to Fe), at least one element selected from Al, Si and P is contained by 8-16[%] (expressed in terms of atomic ratio to Fe) and the atomic ratio of the sum of the rare earth element and at least one selected from Al, Si and P to Fe is 21-30[%]. |
