PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller by which a user can view a desired program only by selecting the channel number of a program table even if the channel number of the program table differs from a channel number which is actually broadcast in an area where the user does not live. SOLUTION: The controller includes a program table acquiring part 101 acquiring the electronized program table, a channel number corresponding table storage part 105 storing a corresponding table showing the correspondence of the channel number of the program table and the channel number of a broadcast program receiver, a channel program conversion part 106 converting the channel number of the program table into the channel number of the broadcast program receiver by referring to the corresponding table, and a broadcast channel number transmission part 107 transmitting the converted channel number to the broadcast program receiver. Consequently, the user can view the desired program only by selecting the channel number of the program table.
