PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resistance ladder type electronic volume that can properly improve a distortion factor at an attenuation of 0dB. SOLUTION: The resistance ladder type electronic volume that is provided with a ladder volume section consisting of a ladder resistor 1 and a switch element group 2 and with a shift volume section consisting of a shift resistor 3 and a switch element group 4, connects with a switch SW-B that brings the ladder volume section consisting of the ladder resistor 1 and the switch element group 2 to an OFF state at setting of an attenuation of 0dB, and connects with a bias resistor Rb at an input terminal of the shift volume section consisting of the shift resistor 3 and the switch element group 4.
