PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing processing system capable of monochromatically printing a color document without damaging visibility. SOLUTION: When the monochromatic printing of a color document is requested, a printer driver in a host device 101 converts colored character data included in the printing data of the color document into character data of a format different from that of the original characters and transfers the converted printing data to a printer device 102. The device 102 prints out a document on a sheet of paper under a set printing condition by executing printing operation in accordance with the printing data received from the printer driver. Thus monochromatic document can be printed out from the color document without damaging the visibility of the document. |
