METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONFIRMING ARTICLE DELIVERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for confirming whether an article has been precisely delivered or not. SOLUTION: Delivery plan information including the date/time scheduled for dispatch is previously registered in the computer of a dispatch side. The computer of the dispatch side generates a password from random numbers generated on the dispatch-scheduled date/time and makes the password a bar code and prints the bar code on a sealing label automatically on the dispatch scheduled date/time and transmits the password to the computer of the reception side of the article through a network. The article is sealed by the sealing label on which the bar code is printed and is dispatched to the reception side. The computer of the reception side judges whether the article is normally transported. When data obtained by reading the bar code on the sealing label sealing the received article matches with the password received from the dispatch side through the network, it is judged that the article has been normally delivered.
