The connector comprises a locking ring (20) in its body (10) which engages the coupling surface of a tube (18) fitted in the connector. The ring comprises an elastically deformable band which can deform between unlocking and locking configurations in which a locking zone (30,32) engages the coupling surface. The ring comprises an unlocking clamp which passes through a slot. In the region of the unlocking clamp the deformable band is parallel to the direction (A) of the connector while the locking zone has an elastic deformation forming a re-entrant locking stop inclined to the connector axis.
