PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely translate data which need to be translated into different languages without entailing any great load increase. SOLUTION: A translation assistance information editor B2 on a computer (B) inserts translation assistance information for assisting the translation of a character string part which needs translation assistance in a document of English article information B1 to be translated (e.g. homepage) into the character string. The translation assistance information is inserted in a form different from the form of the translated document and not displayed when browsed by a browser program C1 on a computer (C). The computer (C) translates the homepage displayed by a browser program C1 with a translating program C2. The translating program C2 translates the character string part to which the translation assistance information inserted into the document corresponds by using the information. |
