PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely retrieve a desired font without requiring any special knowledge. SOLUTION: This method includes a step where evaluated values of evaluation items based upon sensitivity that a person who sees a font has are prepared by fonts, a step where target values and weight values for the respective evaluated values are inputted, a step (S302) where a total evaluated value is calculated by successively adding values obtained by multiplying the squares of differences between the evaluated values and target values by the weight values for all evaluated values according to the evaluated values prepared at the preparation step and the target values and weight values inputted at the input step, a step (S314) where the fonts are rearranged in the increasing order of total evaluated values after the total evaluated values of all the fonts are all calculated (YES at S312), and a step where an example sentence is displayed by using a font having a small total evaluated value. |
