PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make MIDI data reproducible in synchronism with data such as audio data. SOLUTION: In this method for playing musical piece, the MIDI data provided with the sequence of set-up data and a playing sequence and the data for synchronously reproducing the MIDI(Musical Instrument Digital Interface) data are read beforehand and the MIDI data for which a playing start marker is recorded so as to be synchronized with the reproduction start position of the data at a position between the sequence of the set-up data and playing sequence of the MIDI data are reproduced. The method is provided with a step for discriminating whether or not the playing start marker is recorded in the MIDI data and the step for reproducing the data and reproducing the MIDI data from the position of the playing start marker in the case that the playing start marker is recorded in the MIDI data. |
