PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of a panel made of plastic which is to be caused by temperature rise of an output terminal. SOLUTION: An input rectifier filter 16 converts a voltage from an AC power source 14 to a DC voltage. This voltage is converted to a high frequency voltage by an inverter 18, which is transformed by a transformer 20. An output rectifier filter 22 converts the transformed high frequency voltage to a DC voltage, which is supplied to a load 26 via an output terminal 24. The input and the output rectifier filters 16, 22, the inverter 18 and the transformer 20 are installed in a cabinet, and the output terminal 24 is fixed on the panel made of plastic of the cabinet. When a temperature detecting part 40 having a temperature sensor installed on the panel in the vicinity of the output terminal 24 detects that a temperature of the cabinet rises up to a temperature which is lower than the thermal deformation temperature of the plastic and higher than or equal to a previously set temperature, a gate signal ON/OFF part 44 cuts off a gate signal from a gate signal forming part 30 to the inverter 18. When the detecting part 40 detects that the temperature of the cabinet becomes lower than the previously set temperature, the gate signal ON/OFF part 44 supplies the gate signal to the inverter 18.
