摘要 PURPOSE: The structure of a device having an optical system mounted in the device according to a hybrid method is provided to improve the picture quality of an LCD, solve the problem of low luminance of a thin-film EL device. CONSTITUTION: A thin film transistor liquid crystal display includes a TFT panel composed of transparent electrode pixels having TFTs formed between upper and lower transparent substrates as switching elements, a liquid crystal layer, a color filter and a back light set behind the lower transparent substrate. A micro-lens panel is formed by a separate process and mounted on the TFT panel of the back light side according to a hybrid method. Active pixel size of the micro-lens panel to the active pixel size of the TFT panel is 1:1. The lens diameter of the micro-lens panel is identical to or less than the transparent electrode pixel size of the liquid crystal display.
