PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone which automatically adjusts the deviation of the time clocked inside the telephone body. SOLUTION: When the portable telephone 1 is connected to the Internet, it accesses a time server so as to acquire the present time (s1, s2). The time which is clocked by a clocking part 4 is adjusted to the time acquired from the time server (s4). Since the time which is clocked by the clocking part 4 can be automatically adjusted when the portable telephone 1 is connected to the Internet it is not required that a user should adjust the time one by one. Since the precise time is always clocked, it is possible to prevent a trouble caused by the deviation of the time which is clocked. |
