DOCUMENT RECOGNIZING DEVICE AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera image recognizing device capable of reading a document of a wide portion with high precision by moving a camera and easily correcting an erroneous recognition portion. SOLUTION: The drift quantity of the character string image of the image of a documented body subject to comparison is calculated for each image of the photographed documented body from the character string image of the image of a specific documented body among the images of a plurality of photographed documented bodies. When the calculated drift quantity reaches a prescribed quantity, the image of a new character is stuck to the character string image of the image of the specific documented body among the character strain images of the images of the documented bodies having the drift quantity reaching the prescribed value to generate a document image on the character string image of the image of the specific documented body.
