PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wiring simulation device which performs simula tion to judge whether protected parts are fused or not and whether wiring emits smoke or not at the short-circuit of electric wiring of a wire harness or the like. SOLUTION: This electric wiring simulation device 1 includes a characteristic information database 4 where parts information related to parts and wiring, discharge characteristics of a power source, current-fusing time characteristics of protected parts, and current-smoking time characteristics of wiring are stored, a designated route retrieval means 11 which retrieves a designated route connecting a short-circuit point and the power source in a test object circuit, a current value calculation means 12 which calculates a resistance value on the designated route on the basis of parts information and calculates a short- circuit current value on the basis of this resistance value and discharge characteristics of the power source, and a discrimination means 13 which discriminates whether protected parts are fused or not and whether wiring emits smoke or not an intervals of a unit time on the basis of current-smoking time characteristics and current-fusing time characteristics.
