PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply audio or superimposed dialogue translation data on demand, coping with the necessity of supplying a broadcast program or a movie with audio data or superimpose dialogue translation data corresponding to the translated language suitable for each consumer. SOLUTION: Video data are sent to a receiver. A language menu is displayed, and a user is capable of selecting a language different from the broadcast original language possessed of video data. Video data discriminating information and language discriminating information corresponding to the language selected from the language menu are obtained and, for instance, sent to an internet server. The discriminating information is stored in the internet server and used for selecting an audio translation data set from a few audio translation data sets including the language translation of original audio data related to the video data. The selected audio translation data set is sent to the receiver and reproduced in synchronism with the video data. |
