PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a dot region, even if its screen angle and screen lines are different from each other. SOLUTION: This image processing device for detecting a dot region from an input image is provided with a plurality of dot detecting sections 12 and 22 for calculating a value, corresponding to the likeness of a dot in the specified region of the input image by window size different from each other or screen lines which are different from each other and threshold processing sections 14 and 24 for judging whether a prescribed region is a dot region, based on the value based on the likeness of the dots calculated by the plural dots 11 and 22 respectively. |
