<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a portable information terminal, by which the convenience of transmission is improved by controlling the display position of image data in a transmission destination in accordance with the frequency of use. SOLUTION: In these display device and portable information terminal, names, telephone numbers, face images and data on number of call originating/incoming times are stored in plural memories. When displaying these data, first of all, user's own face image data are displayed on the center of a display part (step S314). Next, the face images stored in the memory are located to be nearer to the user's own face image in order of the number of call originating/incoming times (step S315). Then, a cursor is displayed on the face image of the person being the largest in the number of call originating/incoming times (step S318) and arbitrary person can be selected by moving the cursor. Thus, the person can easily be selected in order of the number of call originating/incoming times.</p> |
