<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication adapter, with which a CPU provided in a portable game machine can be concentrated in program processing of a game even while the portable game machine performs communication. SOLUTION: A communication adapter 50 is provided with a CPU (custom IC) 58 for performing entire processing of the communication adapter 50 including processing of the communication protocol of TCP/IP or PPP, a ROM 62 storing a program or the like for processing the communication protocol of TCP/IP or PPP, a RAM 64 to write data by the CPU 58 as needed, and a power supply part 65 or the like provided with a dry cell 68 and a booster circuit 66 or the like for supplying power to these CPU 58, ROM 62 and RAM 64 or the like.</p> |
