PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture compositing processing device for improving displayable colors of graphic picture data in an arbitrary composited display area or its peripheral area. SOLUTION: This device comprises a color information table part 13 having plural color information tables permitting to extend a bit width, a filter part 14 capable of varying magnification of the picture data outputted from the color information tables, a picture compositing part 18 for compositing the picture data outputted from the filter part 14 and 2nd picture data, an area generation part 17 capable of generating at least one composited display area, and a color information table control part 20 to which the graphic picture data and the area signal of the compositing area are inputted, and which is able to make the different color tables correspond to the picture data displayed in the compositing display area and the picture data displayed in the display area other than the compositing display area. |
