PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with mounting and working of a member to a printed board and attach and separate the two printed boards, by securely connecting and disconnecting connectors, prevent damage and generation of crack on a solder part of the connectors or other component mounted and improve reliability and productivity of the product. SOLUTION: In this attaching and separating device for the printed board, the two printed boards 21 and 22, whereon the connectors 11 and 12 are disposed to face to each other are relatively closed or separated, so that the two printed boards 21 and 22 are attached and separated simultaneously as the connectors 11 and 12 are connected and disconnected. The attachment and separation device for the printed board is provided with a first engagement member 3 for engaging the printed board 21 with an engagement part, a second engagement member 4 for engaging the other printed board 22 with an engagement part, and a vertical movement mechanism 5 for vertically moving the other printed board 22 which is engaged with the engagement part, in such a manner that horizontal condition is kept with the printed board 21.
