PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply DC voltage which is insulated from stringing to a control circuit, when voltage of a battery is lowered. SOLUTION: In this auxiliary generating set for a vehicle, supplying DC power from stringing 6 to a first inverter 7 to control it by a control circuit 8 with a chargeable battery 9 serving as a power source to convert the DC power into AC voltage to supply the converted AC voltage to a load 15, a second inverter 12 is connected to the stringing 6, a transformer 13 is connected to the output side of the second inverter 12, the output of the transformer 13 is converted into a DC voltage in a means for turning into DC 14, the DC voltage converted into the DC making means 14 can be supplied to the control circuit 8 via a switching means 10.
