PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the transmission schedule of a portable telephone so as to increase its operability and its convenience. SOLUTION: The transmission schedule (a partner's telephone number, the set time, an item memorandum or the like) is registered an item by an item in a transmission-schedule control table at a terminal 200. When the set time comes, the terminal 200 transmits the partner's telephone number to the portable telephone 100. It also informs a user that the set time has come by displaying a message on a display screen 201. When the portable telephone 100 receives the message, the telephone 100 is set to a state which is immediately before a transmission. It also informs the terminal 200 that the transmission is ready. The terminal 200 receives the information so as to be displayed on the display screen 201 to the effect. When the user presses a telephone call button at an operation part 102, the portable telephone 100 starts a transmitting operation.
