PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus having a base phone connected to a communication line network and a plurality of handsets registered with the base phone and wirelessly connected to it by which group receiving can be performed at a high degree of freedom and to provide a method of controlling incoming calls for the radio communication apparatus. SOLUTION: Subgroups of receivers corresponding to identification numbers of radio mobile stations are specified for each of the arbitrary radio mobile stations and arbitrary groups of receivers are composed of some of the plurality of specified subgroups of receivers. When an incoming message is received from the communication line, a control signal showing the incoming call is transmitted to each of the subgroups of receivers corresponding to the radio mobile stations forming the corresponding group of receivers of the groups of receivers and the corresponding radio mobile stations are informed of the incoming call from the communication line or an arbitrary mobile station.
