PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitting method, with which a file in a large size can be transmitted without lowering line efficiency, and a transmitter using this method. SOLUTION: This device is provided with plural line control parts 15, 16 and 17 for controlling a line, a line table 13 holding time for one of communication corresponding to determined time-out time for each line, a storage means 13, for holding a file to be transmitted through the line, and a control means 11 for dividing and transmitting the file.
