A tool box comprises a first part (10) composed of two boards (12,13) foldably connected with each other in the form of an L-shaped part and a second part (20) including three boards (22-24) foldably connected with each other and in the form of a U-shaped member. At each foldable connection, each board (12,13,22-24) has an inclined surface, such surfaces being held in engagement on folding the boards by interengaging projections and recesses. The second part (20) is mounted to the first part (10) by engaging projections (122) on the first part (10) with recesses (243) in the second part so as to form a tool box with an opening defined in a front side. Drawers (30) slidably engage with rails (225) inside the box and a handle connection is provided in the uppermost board (23).
