Gel-type cosmetic compositions for reducing to be applied on the skin followed by coating the skin with a tapy coating and bandaging, which comprise a gel-type base and fat-degrading component(s). As the fat-degrading component(s), use is made of anhydrous caffeine and/or a marine algae extract. The cosmetic compositions contain butcher's broom extract which has effects of normalizing peripheral vessels and eliminating wastes together with moisture from the body.
