The invention relates to a system and method for providing a user with data/information on products and services in a simple manner. A user interface associated with a product and/or service is used. Said interface is activated by the user, especially by means of contact. The user interface then transmits data to a computer, said data being required for the selection of the desired data/information. The reproduction of the desired data/information is controlled using the data from the user interface. An interface device is used in order to establish links to external systems (e.g. external computer systems, networks). Said links are established by the system in such a way that the user does not have to be active in order to establish said links. Data is supplied to the external systems via the requisite links in order to provide the user with the desired data/information on products and/or services and/or in order to initiate order processing connected to said products and/or services in which the user is interested. |
