<p>A bumper of a car having an excellent rigidity and a restoring capability after deformation thereof at the time of collision, comprising bumper cores installed on the inner right and left sides of a bumper facer between the bumper and a body for absorbing an impact from the outside, wherein the bumper core is formed in a closed molded body having a hollow part in a hollow double wall structure formed by blow-molding a thermoplastic resin and having side walls erected vertically relative to the longitudinal direction of the bumper facer, whereby the bumper core can provide an excellent rigidity against impact and a recovering capability after deformation even if the thickness thereof in longitudinal direction is small, and the absorptivity of impact from the outside and safety can be increased even if the structure allows only the bumper core with small longitudinal thickness to be provided therein between the inside of the bumper facer and the body as in a rear bumper.</p> |
