A fastening device for the conductor wire of a lightning protection installation on a tile-covered house roof comprises a retaining arrangement for the wire, an insulating carrier for the retaining arrangement and a foot part standing up on the roof. The foot part is assembled from two sections (18,19) overlapping like a cross. A first longer section (18) extends in the direction of the wire to be fixed and has an end (27) which is designed in L- or U-shaped fashion and reaches around the upper end side of the roof tile on which the foot part rests in the assembled state.
