<p>A single crystal yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) electrolyte is provided which is produced by first growing single YSZ crystals to form a single crystal boule. The boule is sliced into wafers between 100mm and 200mm thick. The surfaces of the wafers are ground to a matte finish with an rms roughness of about 10mm.</p> |
