The gas turbine (300) has an efficiency optimization device, for converting the thermal energy of the gas turbine exhaust gas into kinetic energy. An electrical generator can be integrated in the turbine housing downstream of the combustion chamber (301) and mounted on the turbine shaft, with water injected into an outer chamber (302) enclosing the combustion chamber, for providing steam for driving a secondary energy converter (300B).
