A socket for artificial dialyzer, wherein a holder (42) pressing a locking ball (41) is stored between an external sleeve (30) fitted onto the outer surface of the coupling part (21) of a coupler main body (20) and the outer surface of the coupling part (21) in the state of being energized by a spring so as to be moved forward and backward, whereby a coupler (10) can be installed quickly and easily on the plug (51) of an artificial dialyzer (50) by the forward and backward motion of the holder (42), and the coupler (10) is installed on the adapter (60) in the state of the locking ball (41) released by the pressing projection (67) of the adapter for washing (60) when the adapter for washing (60) is used for washing so that the inside of the coupling part (21) can be surely washed clean.
