A lock has a spring-loaded latch (4) and a lock bolt (5) that can be slid out. The outer part (15) of the lock nut (12) is provided with an attachment (23) that works together with the locking mechanism (24) on which this attachment lies in its locked position and prevents pressing down of the outer trigger. The locking mechanism is formed by a bolt (26) pre-tensioned against its locking position. The bolt is connected with an actuator (25) that is formed by a solenoid or a cylinder-piston arrangement acted upon by a pressurized fluid. The actuator can be controlled by a sensor detecting fingerprints.
