A mounting groove (G) formed in a connection part between a roof panel (R) and a side structure (S), comprising a first vertical wall (11) extending downward, without undercut, from the side edge of a roof panel body (10) and a second vertical wall (13) extending downward from the side edge of the side structure (S) and inclined toward the lower end side thereof so as to separate from the first vertical wall (11), and a roof molding (M) having a cover part (17), a base part (18) having a cut-out (22) formed in the side surface thereof opposed to the first vertical wall (11), and a pair of lip parts (19, 20) extending laterally from the lower end of the base part (18) and allowed to elastically abut on the first vertical wall (11) and the second vertical wall (13), the side structure (S) further comprising a stepped part (21) allowing the cover part (17) of the roof molding (M) to abut thereon, whereby the roof molding (M) can be surely prevented from falling out of the mounting groove (G) while assuring the workability of the roof panel (R).
