Spray nozzle (1) comprises an outlet opening (4) forming a liquid stream and a baffle (7) arranged in the direction of flow behind the outlet opening to produce a fan spray. The baffle is a convex surface of a tongue (8) extending from the outlet opening into the liquid stream. Preferred Features: The baffle lies at an angle ( alpha ) to the axis (6) of the liquid stream emerging from the outlet opening. The width of the tongue increases in the direction of the liquid stream.
