Reagents which regulate human airway trypsin protease-like enzyme and reagents which bind to human airway trypsin protease-like enzyme gene products can play a role in preventing, ameliorating, or correcting dysfunctions or diseases including, but not limited to, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The human airway trypsin protease-like ezyme also is expected to be useful for treating cancer, cardiovascular diseases and central nervous system (CNS) diseases. |
