<p>The invention provides a mortar composition which comprises 100 parts by weight of cement; 1-80 parts by weight of untreated rice husks; 30-200 parts by weight of one or more fillers and additives; and 0.2-10 parts by weight of an accelerator. The invention also provides a settable mortar composition and methods for making the mortar compositions of the invention.</p>
