<p>Product procurement services are provided to a customer by receivng from at least one user representing the customer a purchase order (128) for a product in a product database containing a listing of a plurality of products available from at least one vendor (130) and purchase terms for a sale of each of the products, the purchase order being according to the purchase terms in the product database associated with the product. It is termined whether the purchase order falls within predefined order limits for the at least one user. If the purchase order falls within the predefined order limits, the at least one user is provided an opportunity to commit to purchase the product (132).
