PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability and durability of a recording head by preventing deterioration of lubricant filling the nose part of the recording head. SOLUTION: In the recording head 18 of a recorder where a plurality of wire through holes 46 for passing a plurality of recording wires 35, respectively, are made through a guide 44 disposed at the forward end of a nose part 41 filled, on the inside of the forward end guide, with lubricant 47 for lubricating the forward end guide and the recording wires, an ink absorbing member 49 for adsorbing foreign matters, e.g. ink scattered from an ink ribbon 31 located in front of the forward end guide, is fixed to the front face 48 of the forward end guide.
