PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic control wall capable of sealing a lower part of a box body securely and firmly, maintaining a sealed condition of the lower part of the box body even after applying a repetitive stress in the direction outside of a face, eliminating a possibility of a leakage of a viscous body, fixing on a lower support means such as a lower beam firmly with sufficient proof stress, reducing a width (thickness) in the direction outside of the face to reduce a wall thickness, and providing a wide room. SOLUTION: This seismic control wall 1 is provided with the lower support means 4 and an upper support means 5 in a building wall formed between a pair of columns in a building, the box body 8 having an opening 6 in an upper part and a bottom wall plate 21 in a lower part and fixed on the lower support means 4 through a lower part fixing means 7 by the bottom wall plate 21, a resistance plate 11 arranged in the box body 8 with a clearance 9 for the box body 8 and fixed on the upper support means 5 through an upper part fixing means 10 in an upper part, and the viscous body 12 filled into the clearance 9 between the box body 8 and the resistance plate 11 arranged in the box body 8.
