PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for replacing a track, in which the direction of operation can be reversed by minimum turning operation. SOLUTION: A machine frame 5 capable of being borne on rail lower structures 4 is installed to the device 1 for replacing the track 2, two sleeper transporters 19, 21 at distances from the mutual transporters in the longitudinal direction of the device are connected to the machine frame 5, and old sleepers 20 are lifted and new sleepers 22 are laid respectively. A caterpillar-track lower structure 17 and a ballast grading device 23 are arrayed between these transporters. The grading device 23 is designed so as to be able to be rotated extending over an angle of 180 deg. centering around a vertical axis.
