PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printer capable of continuously printing a plurality of documents in a platemaking mode at each original without reducing an operating efficiency. SOLUTION: The stencil printer 1 comprises an image reader 2, a platemaking unit 4, a sheet feeder 3 for feeding a printing sheet P toward a printing unit 5 having a plate cylinder 60 and an image memory 56 capable of setting the plurality of platemaking modes changing the platemaking mode to a master 48 by the unit 4 and storing a plurality of original images read by the reader 2 as image data. Thus, the printer 1 repeatedly executes a platemaking operation and a printing operation by reading the plurality of the documents by the reader 2 before the platemaking operation, converting the original images of the respective originals to image data in response to the mode, storing the data in the memory 56, and sequentially calling the data in the memory 56.
